FDA okays morning-after pill as OTC birth control for women 15 and up

FDA okays morning-after pill as OTC birth control for women 15 and up, The Federal Drug Administration (FDA) has approved the morning-after pill to become an over the counter contraceptive method or birth control for women 15 years and older as per reports from the USA Today on April 30.

Debates were ongoing as to whether the vote would come to fruition sooner than later.
The morning after pill is meant to be an ‘emergency contraceptive’.

What does this mean? It means you have unprotected sex one day and go buy the pill the next day you are one step closer to an ‘unwanted’ pregnancy.

Arguments against the morning after pill claim women will take for granted the availability of the pill, thereby using it as their ‘go-to’ method of contraception.
