Magic Rips Howard: Ex-Laker alum lobs 'foul' shots at Dwight Howard via Twitter

Magic Rips Howard: Ex-Laker alum lobs 'foul' shots at Dwight Howard via Twitter, Retired NBA All-Star Earvin "Magic" Johnson remains close to the game he loves. Perhaps a little too close. A huge Lakers fan, Johnson took to Twitter to voice his displeasure with Los Angeles player Dwight Howard.

The USA Today on April 29 reported that the NBA analyst and Hall of Fame Johnson was less than impressed with his former team's performance in the playoffs, and he made it known.

Plenty of Lakers fans are unhappy with Dwight Howard’s third quarter ejection in the team’s season-ending Game 4 loss to the San Antonio Spurs Sunday, but they do not have Magic’s Twitter influence.

The famous ex-Lakers alum star lashed out on the current squad, specifically Howard, with the following:

Laker Nation: Dwight Howard that was a big No, No. Your teammates and the fans were counting on you.

LN: Dwight, I’ve been swept before but I never let my team down by getting kicked out of the game.

LN: Dwight with an already depleted team you couldn’t afford to foul out or get kicked out. Having you on the floor … say.ly/Haa5HEZ

Laker Nation: I’m sooooooooooo happy the season is over. With the talent on this team this could go down as one of t… say.ly/wPQ5HF2

Johnson then instructed Howard that he was grounded for two weeks with no X-Box. Johnson’s response was appropriately humble:

“I’ve got to do a better job of keeping my cool,” he said.
