Williams-Sonoma has pulled pressure cookers off their store shelves, According to an article published on Monday, April 22 by Patch.com, Williams-Sonoma has pulled pressure cookers off their store shelves. Williams-Sonoma has 250 stores across the U.S., and is known for selling cookware and home furnishings.

The move is said to be related to the April 15 bombings at the Boston Marathon that killed three people including an 8-year-old boy and injured more than 170 others. Patch.com quoted a Williams-Sonoma store manager with saying; "It's a temporary thing out of respect.”

According to authorities, 19-year-old Dzhokhar A. Tsarnaev and his 26-year-old brother Tamerlan Tsarnaev filled two pressure cookers with explosives and shrapnel, and placed them near the finish line at the Boston Marathon.

Tamerlan Tsarnaev was killed in a confrontation with law enforcement officers on April 18, and his younger brother Dzhokhar A. Tsarnaev is currently hospitalized and recovering from injuries he received in two separate shootouts with police.

Dzhokhar A. Tsarnaev was formally charged on Monday, April 22 with using a weapon of mass destruction, and with malicious destruction of property resulting in death.
