Too sexy for Saudi Arabia? Striking Saudi man deported for being too attractive

Too sexy for Saudi Arabia? Striking Saudi man deported for being too attractive, In 1992, English trio Right Said Fred sang that they are too sexy for their “shirt,” “Milan,” their cars and pet cats. Add this Saudi man to the mix, who was allegedly deported by authorities who said the man was simply too smoldering to remain in their kingdom.

U.K. news source The Telegraph reported April 26 that Omar Borkan Al Gala, a poet, actor, and all around good looking 'Dubai Guy,' was reportedly removed from a festival in Riyadh by religious police in the Islamic kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vices in Saudi – in other words the ‘Fun Police’ – had Al Gala, along with two other of his attractive ‘wing men,’ deported back to Abu Dhabi in fear Saudi women should “fall for them.”

Saudi Arabia, and many other Middle Eastern countries, have strict rules governing interaction between men and women who are not related.

A report in the Arabic newspaper Elaph said: “A festival official said the three Emiratis were taken out on the grounds they are too handsome and that the Commission members feared female visitors could fall for them.”

Although he has not yet confirmed that he was one of the deported men, Al Gala has posted a link to the original news report on his Facebook page, along with his attempts at poetic statements, such as:

“The beauty of a woman must be seen from in her eyes, because that is the doorway to her heart, the place where love resides.”
