Boston weather forecast for Apr. 28, 2013

Boston weather forecast for Apr. 28, 2013, Forecast discussion: High pressure will be settling over New England for the next few days, which will continue our dry weather in Boston.

The high has been giving us good weather the last few days, as winds have come from the north. As we move into this evening, winds will begin to turn more to the southeast. This is still a cool wind, as it comes off the ocean. So, the coastline may only reach temperatures in the middle 60’s. However, as you move inland, temperatures will reach the upper 60’s.

Our evenings will also be seasonable, as temperatures slowly rise into the lower 40’s. Also, we will be reaching a dry weather pattern for the next several days. The high will remain over New England or just offshore in the Atlantic as we move through the week. This will help block any low pressure systems from reaching Southern New England. Temperatures will slowly cool into the lower 60’s during the day by Wednesday, as winds return from the north. Overnight low temperatures will remain in the lower to middle 40’s.
