2,000 Netflix movies to disappear: Classic Netflix titles back to Warner

2,000 Netflix movies to disappear: Classic Netflix titles back to Warner, Netflix fans, subscribers and instantwatchers, beware: Classic titles are vanishing. Beginning today (May 1), popular movies like "Dracula," "Frankenstein," "The Three Stooges" and others are being pulled. Nearly 2,000 Netflix movies are to disappear and head back to Warner Bros.

The popular Netflix streaming service (stock ticker symbol: NFLX) is not going under by any means. But it may have just made a sliver of loyal customers hot behind the collar, citing an April 30 report from PCMag on the 2,000 Netflix movies to disappear.

Essentially, about 1,794 titles from Warner Bros, Universal and MGM are being removed from the list of offerings. Instantwatcher has the full list.

If that's not enough to unnerve you, the video streaming service is experimenting with some new features, some of which limit your sorting ability.

However, it is likely designed to improve your ability to select and watch your favorite movie title in the future. Some users report that it is annoying, but as PC points out, you have the ability to contact Netflix customer service to have your old interface put just back the way it was.

If you're that unhappy with the disappearance of the 2,000 Netflix movies, head over to warnerarchive. You can instantly watch "Best of 77 Sunset Strip: Year 2 & 3," "World Without End," "Deadly Game" and others.

However, it will set you back $9.99 a month. Imagine that?
